|Your Significant Other, Executive-Women Networking Function|
February 26th, 2017 – Executive Women held a Networking Function at the Ritz Carlton, DIFC titled “ Your Significant Other” Featuring the Co-Founders of MrUsta, Dunia Othman and her Husband Ibrahim Colak. The event was held in partnership with, Elegant Resorts, Abeer Beauty Spa, KG Productions, City Scape Global, Emirates Walk for Autism, Medeor 24x7 Hospital, Shimmer Kreation and Sama Sante Medical Centre.
The gathering was held in celebration of the month of love to embrace partnership and collaboration. The talk addressed many unanswered questions for the entrepreneurs within the Executive-Women community on conflict resolution and partnership handling. Dunia Othman is an Entrepreneur with a rare mix of Marketing, Business Management and Engineering.
Her professional journey spans across multiple countries including New Zealand, US, Canada as well as Middle Eastern Regions. At the very early years of her career she had the privilege to be part of corporate giants like John Deere and Nokia. She shared her experience on working in leading corporations, transferring that knowledge to start up a new business, share acquisition and earning, task delegation, managing the relationship with her partners, working with her husband and last but not least working as a mother!
The rest of the night was made vibrant with the speeches from the Managing Partner at Executive-Women, Sara Mohammad and Anthony Cole, General Manager at Elegant Resorts. Two of Executive-Women’s esteemed members took the floor to enlighten women about diverse and signature topics. Dr. Nahida Abdulkader, Goodwill Ambassador, Founder and Chairwoman of Emirates Walk for Autism, spoke about her initiative to create awareness. Zoe Cousens, Founder of Castellet Consulting shared a few keynotes with the audience on wealth and financial management, and investment in the region. The night was concluded with the exquisite Oud player from KG Productions, Basel Debal, engaging activities by Abeer Beauty Spa, a raffle draw and a productive session of networking.
